The Company of Good Recognition System is an initiative by Singapore’s National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre, or NVPC.

It recognises organisations for their commitment to corporate purpose and their impact across five dimensions: People, Society, Governance, Environment and Economic contribution. Rather than looking only at donations or one-off initiatives, the framework considers how purpose is built into the way an organisation operates.

In 2025, a record 393 organisations were conferred as Companies of Good, with small and medium-sized enterprises making up 77% of those recognised. Since the recognition system was refreshed in 2023, many organisations across Singapore have been recognised for their commitment to doing business with purpose.

Where suitable, The Curtain Boutique repurposes selected leftover curtain fabrics into reusable tote bags rather than allowing every usable piece to go to waste.
