The Curtain Boutique has once again been recognised as a Singapore Company of Good, with our latest recognition covering in 2026.

This recognition means a great deal to us because it reflects the way we try to run our business every day. It is not only about what we sell, but also how we support our employees, serve our customers, operate responsibly and contribute to the wider community.
As a homegrown curtains and blinds company, we believe doing good should be part of how a business works, not something separate from it. It should show up in the way we treat people, make decisions and carry out our work.
What Company of Good Means
The Company of Good Recognition System is an initiative by Singapore’s National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre, or NVPC.
It recognises organisations for their commitment to corporate purpose and their impact across five dimensions: People, Society, Governance, Environment and Economic contribution. Rather than looking only at donations or one-off initiatives, the framework considers how purpose is built into the way an organisation operates.
In 2025, a record 393 organisations were conferred as Companies of Good, with small and medium-sized enterprises making up 77% of those recognised. Since the recognition system was refreshed in 2023, many organisations across Singapore have been recognised for their commitment to doing business with purpose.
For The Curtain Boutique, being recognised again is a meaningful reminder that responsible growth should create value beyond the bottom line.

Supporting the people behind every project
Behind every completed installation is a team working together across different stages of the customer journey.
Our Design Consultants, customer service staff, site surveyors, production personnel, installers and operations teams all play a part in delivering the experience our customers receive. From the first consultation and onsite measurement to production, installation and after-sales support, every stage depends on coordination and care.
That is why we continue to invest in our people.
We support our employees through fair remuneration, healthcare benefits and a safe, inclusive and supportive working environment. We also place importance on workforce development through product knowledge, customer service and technical training, along with opportunities for employees to take on more responsibility as they grow in their roles.
New team members receive practical guidance to help them understand our products, processes and service standards. Across departments, clear communication and strong teamwork help each customised project move smoothly from one stage to the next.
Employee development also has a direct effect on the homeowner experience. A well-trained Design Consultant can provide clearer recommendations. An experienced site surveyor can identify installation considerations earlier. A coordinated operations team can help keep the project on track, while a skilled installation team helps ensure the final result meets the required standard.
As we continue to grow, we remain committed to strengthening employee recognition, workplace safety, career development and internal progression. By supporting the people behind our projects, we can provide better and more dependable service to our customers.
Creating a customer experience built on trust
Choosing customised window furnishings involves more than deciding on a colour or material.
Homeowners rely on us for suitable recommendations, accurate measurements, clear quotations, careful coordination and professional installation. With several stages involved in each project, transparency and accountability matter throughout the process.
Whether a customer is choosing curtains, indoor blinds or Ziptrak® outdoor blinds, our role is to help them understand their options and choose a solution that fits their home, lifestyle and practical needs.
This approach is supported by our commitment to fair and transparent business practices. The Curtain Boutique was Singapore’s first CaseTrust-accredited window furnishing company, giving customers added assurance when engaging us for customised products and installation services.
Strong internal processes also matter. Clear documentation and communication between our consultation, measurement, production and installation teams help reduce misunderstandings and keep important project details consistent from start to finish.
For us, responsible customer care is not only about being helpful during the sales process. It also means staying accountable throughout the project and continuing to support customers after installation when they need us.

Making more considered use of materials
As curtains and blinds are customised to the measurements of each home, fabric offcuts may remain after production.
Where suitable, The Curtain Boutique repurposes selected leftover curtain fabrics into reusable tote bags rather than allowing every usable piece to go to waste.
It is a simple initiative, but it reflects a larger belief: sustainability can be built into everyday operational choices. Small steps still matter when they are taken consistently.
We also provide window furnishing solutions that help homeowners manage sunlight, glare, privacy and indoor comfort. The actual performance of any product depends on factors such as fabric selection, material, window orientation and installation conditions, so suitable recommendations remain important.
There is always more that businesses can do to reduce their environmental impact. As we grow, we will continue looking for practical ways to use materials more thoughtfully, minimise unnecessary waste and make better operational decisions where possible.
Contributing to Singapore’s home and living industry
As a homegrown Singapore business, The Curtain Boutique has grown alongside the changing needs of local homeowners.
Today, window furnishings are expected to do more than look good. Homeowners are increasingly thinking about privacy, light control, heat management, convenience and how a product fits into daily life.
By continuing to develop our team, improve our processes and introduce suitable solutions, we aim to contribute positively to Singapore’s home and living industry.
Our work also involves collaboration with suppliers, interior designers, contractors and other home-related businesses. These partnerships bring different areas of expertise together and help homeowners navigate renovation and home improvement projects with greater confidence.
Supporting a strong local business ecosystem is another way we can create value beyond our own organisation.

Continuing our Company of Good journey
Our Company of Good recognition for 2026 to 2028 is not a finish line.
It is a reminder that how a company grows matters just as much as what it achieves.
Following our earlier recognition in 2025, we remain committed to improving how we support our employees, serve homeowners, operate responsibly and contribute to the people and communities around us. Our previous recognition highlighted TCB’s efforts across employee welfare, community support, sustainability, governance and local economic contribution.
We would like to thank our team for the care and effort they put into their work, our customers for trusting us with their homes and our partners for continuing to grow alongside us.
As The Curtain Boutique moves forward, we will continue working towards a business that provides quality home solutions while creating a positive and lasting impact.
